Jill Weiman Kowitz
Jill Kowitz has worked with hundreds of children for more than 10 years and still absolutely loves it! She has worked as a pre-school teacher in Potomac MD, Northwest DC and Chevy Chase MD. Every day , she eagerly greets her children for a fun-filled day of early learning. While observing her students over the past several years and by being a mother herself, Jill saw the difficulties that young children occasionally have transitioning from preschool to Kindergarten. Having a degree in early childhood education, being a lifelong resident of the DC area, and coming from a family of educators, Jill knows the importance of early learning. Jill decided that she could help make a difference in a child’s life by helping students become more confident and eager to learn as they enter Kindergarten. Jill decided that she could take her fun-filled approach to working with children and help them with school readiness. On her own initiative, Jill became Handwriting Without Tears certified and joined the Write Here Right Now team. Using her knowledge of HWT and her background in early childhood education, Jill now specializes in working with preschool and Kindergarten aged children.
